Micheline Dumont’s journey into interior decorating began with simple moments, picking paint colours with her mom and stencilling walls. What started as a creative hobby quickly blossomed into a lifelong passion. After enrolling in evening classes at her local college, Micheline graduated with honours in Interior Decorating in 2004. Shortly after, she launched Dumont Designs, which later evolved into Micheline Dumont Design.

With over 20 years of experience, Micheline has transformed countless kitchens, bathrooms, family rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, and children’s spaces. Known for her keen eye for colour and intuitive approach to space planning, she brings warmth, function, and personality into every home she designs. Clients often say she “sees in colour”—and she truly does.

Based in the charming town of Almonte, Ontario, Micheline balances her design business with her role as a health and safety advisor. She’s also a proud mom of two, a wife, and a devoted fur mama to a rescue dog. Passionate about her community, she loves being involved in local initiatives and events.
