Northland Kitchen Renovation

This kitchen renovation was all about re-thinking how the space functioned. The original layout included a laundry area where a pantry should have been, which limited both storage and flow. By relocating the laundry to an underused but ideal space in the basement, we were able to unlock the kitchen’s full potential.

With the clients fully on board, the new layout allowed for a proper island—creating a natural gathering place and improving everyday functionality. One of my favourite design moments was introducing an arched pantry doorway, adding softness, character, and a timeless architectural detail that anchors the space beautifully.

The result is a kitchen that feels intentional, spacious, and tailored to how the homeowners truly live.
